We're Looking For a Few Good Board Members
Serving as a board member is a challenging and rewarding volunteer assignment. While appointment or election to a board is an honor, board members have important legal and fiduciary responsibilities that require a commitment of time, skill, and resources.
Martial Arts in the Public Interest is always looking for individuals who have knowledge and/or interest in small business operations, fundraising, marketing, and program development. We are also looking for individuals who have the extra time and energy to help the organization grow.
Members of the board of directors DO NOT have to be students at the school. They do, however, need to be members at least at the friend level and support the mission of the organization. Please take a moment to consider serving in this capacity, and please take a moment to mention the opportunity to your friends and family.
